David is the Director of EU Affairs at Verizon, where he leads the company’s advocacy strategy on EU digital policy. Throughout his 30 years of experience in the ICT sector, David has held various leadership positions bridging the gap between complex technical infrastructure and policy & regulatory frameworks. His experience at Verizon spans from leading international operational teams and developing advanced network solutions to his current role navigating EU policy. A self-described “tech-savvy early adopter” with a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, David is uniquely positioned to harmonize technical realities with global policy frameworks.
