Dr Elia Cornelio Marí is assistant professor in communication at the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, Mexico.
Dr Cornelio Marí specialises in television studies. Her most recent publications focus on the original productions of Netflix for Mexico, and on the reception of dubbed television by international audiences.
Currently, Dr Cornelio Marí is leading a research project about binge-watching among university students.
Dr Cornelio Marí holds a PhD in Communication, Technology and Society by Sapienza University of Rome, and a M.A. in Media Studies by the University of Texas at Austin.
