Elizabeth Peña Jáuregui is an expert in ICT regulation and public policy.
With more than 18 years of experience, she has extensive knowledge on cybersecurity issues and spectrum. Ms Peña Jáuregui has contributed to the strategic design of the telecommunications regulatory framework in Mexico and helped launch the Telecommunications Investment Promotion Agency (PROMTEL) and the Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) transformation. She works closely with the OAS Cybersecurity Laboratory for Parliaments.
Peña Jáuregui has a master’s degree in Applied Public Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) and holds a diploma in strategy and innovation from MIT. Currently, she works at Ericsson as Head of Government & Industry Relations for LATAM North & Caribbean
