Yasmina has been a key figure at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) since 2006, where she currently serves as the Executive Director for Regulatory and Economic Policies. In this role, Yasmina has significantly influenced the development of telecommunications policies that promote innovation and economic growth within the sector.
In addition to her extensive experience at NTRA, Yasmina is pursuing a PhD in Communication Engineering at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Her research focuses on emergency telecommunications, exploring how robust communication systems can be effectively deployed during crises to ensure public safety and efficient response. This vital work contributes valuable insights to both academic discourse and practical applications in emergency management.

Moreover, Yasmina holds an esteemed international position as a Rapporteur in Study Group 2 (SG2) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). In this capacity, she collaborates with global experts to develop and harmonize telecommunications standards and policies, ensuring that emerging technologies are effectively integrated into national and international frameworks.

With a unique blend of executive experience, academic pursuits, and international collaboration, Yasmina is dedicated to driving positive change in the telecommunications industry. She advocates for policies that enhance connectivity and accessibility for all, earning recognition for her strategic vision and leadership.
