Felipe is an economist from the University of Cartagena, with a Master’s degree and current PhD candidacy in Economic Sciences from the National University of Colombia. He also holds diplomas in International Financial Reporting Standards, Econometrics, Competition Policy, and Data Science.
He has extensive experience in the public sector, beginning in 2010. He has served as an economic advisor to institutions such as the National Directorate of Narcotics and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, particularly in the area of competition protection. Before joining the Commission, he served as Coordinator of the Business Mergers Group at the Superintendence.
