Gina M. Perini

Gina M. Perini is Somos Inc.’s Chair of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Perini also serves as Chair of the Executive Committee.

Under Ms Perini’s vision and leadership, Somos has become a leading global provider of telephone number database administration and numbering information services. Somos plays several critical roles in the North American telecommunications ecosystem, including serving as the North American Numbering Plan Administrator, the Toll Free Number Administrator, and the Reassigned Numbers Database Administrator. Through its U.K. subsidiary XConnect, it also provides critical global telephone number information services for over 200 countries.

Through fostering a culture of agility, innovation, inclusivity and collaboration, Ms Perini has proven herself a force in expanding Somos’ leadership and impact across the global telecommunications industry.

In 2020, Ms Perini was named as a regional winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2014 she was honored as a pioneer, role model and trailblazer by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a “Top Women of Law.”

Prior to joining Somos, Ms Perini was at GTC Law Group & Affiliates, and Foley Hoag LLP, where she advised businesses on global corporate and intellectual property law matters related to technology, telecommunications, Internet, new media and advertising.
