Senior Advisor to Commissioner Antonio Martusciello, Authorità per le Garanzie nelle comunicazioni (AGCOM), Italy

Giuliano De Vita joined AGCOM in 2000, where he is currently Senior Advisor to the AGCOM Council within the staff of Commissioner A. Martusciello. At an international level, this role includes engagement both with the European Union and with pan-European regulators’ networks. In conjunction with the above mentioned activities, Mr De Vita has been Senior Expert in several European Union Twinning Projects (2005-present).

Mr De Vita began his career in finance, winning a fellowship for a full time graduate training programme at the Centre for Corporate Finance Studies of IMI bank (1998), after which he worked as a credit risk analyst in the foreign corporates division of San Paolo IMI bank.

Mr De Vita holds a Degree in Economics & Business, 110\110 cum Laude, at University of Naples – Federico II (1997); was part of a special programme for students of business at Yale University (1995) and the Diplôme d’études en Langue Française, a diploma awarded by the French Ministry of National Education. He was, until 2007, a lecturer for Masters’ students in “Competition and regulation of public utilities” at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rome and is currently a lecturer at the University of Naples Suor Orsola Benincasa, teaching media regulation.
