Giuseppe Marrara

Giuseppe Sidrim Marrara is the Public Policy Senior Director for Cisco, leading the Latin America region. Prior to joining Cisco, he was Deputy Country Manager and Head of Government Relations for Motorola, and was previously employed by other Silicon Valley companies such as HP and Intel. He has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, leading advocacy, and sales efforts within the Brazilian Government and in the Latin America region. He is an active board member of several industry associations in the region and has great interest in corporate responsibility initiatives aimed at promoting education, social and health inclusion programs, and environmental care.

Mr Marrara has a degree in electrical engineering, focused in micro-electronics and telecommunications, from the University of Brasília, and in Law, focused in administrative law, from UniCEUB, as well recently completed the Disruptive Strategy program at Harvard University.
