Izabela Matusz serves as Ambassador of the European Union and Head of the Delegation to Panama since 1 September 2022.
Ms Matusz joined the Polish Foreign Service in 2002. Between 2013 and 2017, she served as Ambassador of Poland to Peru, concurrent for Bolivia and Ecuador. She also served at the Embassies of Poland in Argentina and Spain.
While at Headquarters in Warsaw, Ms Matusz worked in the Department of the Americas, Department of Economic Cooperation and the Cabinet of the Minister.
Ms Matusz holds a MA degree in Economics and International Relations from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and a Postgraduate degree from the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Warsaw.
