Juan Pablo Herrera Saavedra

Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Externado University of Colombia

Economist and Master of Economic Sciences with an emphasis on Economic Theory and Policy from the National University of Colombia.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the Externado University of Colombia. He has been a guest lecturer for the World Bank, the OECD, and the IDB. He is a former official in the Directorate of Economic Studies of the National Planning Department and a professor of microeconomics, industrial organization, and competition policy in undergraduate and graduate programs in economics and law. He has served as Coordinator of Economic Studies, Head of the Planning Advisory Office, and Deputy Superintendent for the Protection of Competition at the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.
