Julio Spiegel is Vice President of Government Affairs of Liberty Latin America.

Mr Spiegel previouslu held the position of Executive President of the Sonitel Group until it was acquired by Cable & Wireless Panama (CWP) in 2014. Upon joining CWP, he led the Executive Direction of the Corporate and Government Business Unit, for Panama and the markets of Nicaragua and El Salvador. From April 15, 2015 to March 8, 2021, he held the position of Executive President and General Manager of the Company and President of the Board of Trustees of the Cable & Wireless Panamá Foundation.

Mr Spiegel was promoted as of March 8, 2021 as President of the Board of Directors of Cable & Wireless Panama and became Vice President of Government Affairs of Liberty Latin America.

Mr Spiegel is a Panamanian executive who has demonstrated his experience in handling complex negotiations with government leaders and building critical business relationships, combined with his vast experience and knowledge in broadband, television, mobile and corporate and government businesses.

Julio Spiegel graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri and has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Harvard University.
