Jürgen Bering works at Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (Society for Civil Rights, GFF), a Berlin based strategic litigation organization. Jürgen’s work is focused on digital rights, particularly surveillance, platforms, and algorithmic discrimination.
Prior to joining GFF, Jürgen worked as a lawyer at Dentons’ Berlin office, focusing on public law and antitrust law.
He studied law in Halle (Saale) and Bergen in Norway and holds master’s degrees in business law from the University of Halle and in international legal studies from New York University. Jürgen worked at a researcher at the University of Halle and the University of Potsdam.
