Karim Ibourki has been Chair of CSA (Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel) since November 2017. He was Vice-Chair of the Media Board (European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services) for 2 years before being elected as Chair from 2021 to 2022 and he has been a Board Member since then. Mr. Ibourki holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He also obtained, from the same University, two Master’s of Science: one in Journalism and Communication and another one in Political Science. Before to join the CSA, he was Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of the Minister President of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (2012-2015) and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Cabinet Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of the Minister President of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (2007-2012).
