Luizio Felipe Rocha is the Executive Director of STRIMA, the audiovisual streaming association that brings together Disney+, Globoplay, HBO Max, Netflix, Prime Video, and Bandplay in Brazil. A lawyer with experience in the Brazilian political and regulatory landscape, he has consolidated his career at the intersection of government and the private sector, specializing in institutional and government relations. He has been involved in essential discussions that have shaped the public policies affecting the media and entertainment industry and the technology sector.
As Executive Director of STRIMA, his work is centered on institutional dialogue with the various audiovisual stakeholders and the Brazilian public sector, seeking to enable public policies that promote the growth of the audiovisual industry in the country.
Before taking the leadership of STRIMA, Luizio worked in the private sector as a consultant to media, entertainment, and technology companies, advising them on legislative and regulatory strategies. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University, a postgraduate specialization in Government Relations from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and a law degree from Instituição Toledo de Ensino (ITE).
