Advisor to the Director, National Directorate of Telecommunications and Audiovisual Communication Services, Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM) Uruguay

María José holds a degree in Economics (UDELAR, 1999).

She has served at the National Directorate of Telecommunications and Audiovisual Communication Services of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining since February 2012.

Her responsibilities include providing technical support in telecommunications, postal, and international matters. She participates in various national and international forums for public policy development, sector promotion, and trade negotiations. She serves as the focal point with different international organizations regarding matters related to Dinatel’s áreas.

She also teaches Family Business Administration in the Management and Administration program at ORT University.
