Marieke Göttsch is a Senior Specialist in the Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Uruguay, where she leads initiatives aimed at strengthening innovation, productivity, and technological transformation. She has more than 15 years of international experience in the design and implementation of science, technology, innovation, and productive development policies. Prior to joining the IDB, she worked at Nesta (UK), the World Bank, and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). Her areas of expertise include digital transformation, mission-oriented innovation, agile regulation, and innovation ecosystem development.
