Data Protection Officer (Data Privacy), DTAC

Montri Stapornkul is currently holding a position as Data Protection Officer at Dtac where he is looking after all data processing activities there. He is also producing and upholding the data protection related policies and procedures to control both operations and technologies.

Mr Stapornkul has engaged in various Data Privacy and Cyber Security conferences ie; ETDA on GDPR, Chulalongkorn University on GDPR, Data Protection implementation guest speaker at Thamasart University, and has written several articles on data privacy ie; “why it’s time consumers ask tough questions about data privacy”
Prior to joining Dtac, Mr Stapornkul was working in the finance sector (2006-2015) where he was looking after Consumer Sales, Collections, Operations, and IT governance. He has the expertise in the area of data protection as it is the basic part of financial operations.
Mr Stapornkul also has experience working in industries such as Oil & Gas retail, Stock Brokerage, and Logistics.

He graduated from California State University, Northridge (BS International Business).
