Naoki Kinoshita

At leading Japanese telecommunications companies such as NTT Docomo and SoftBank Mobile, Mr. Kinoshita spearheaded the launch of payment services and mobile content platforms. In the early 2000s, he played a pivotal role in establishing Japan’s first carrier-operated payment gateway services and led the development of the “Osaifu-Keitai” mobile wallet system, creating a foundational shift in the industry. He further advanced the field by promoting proof-of-concept initiatives and product development utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as NFC (contactless IC payment) and AR (augmented reality), driving forward innovative projects both domestically and internationally.
