Nekita Turnbull is a communications strategist and public-sector leader with more than 15 years of experience in media, communications, and public engagement. She currently serves as Chief Information Officer at the Department of Information and Public Relations for the Government of the Virgin Islands, where she leads national communication strategies centered on transparency, audience trust, and meaningful connection with communities.
With a background in advertising and digital marketing, Nekita has built a career focused on ethical storytelling and strengthening the relationship between institutions and the public.
Throughout her career in public service, Nekita has developed impactful campaigns that champion information integrity, promote responsible communication across traditional and digital platforms, and advance the fields of advertising and public communication in the Virgin Islands.
