Pablo Nieto is the Regional Public Policy Manager for the Andean Region at the Latin American Internet Association (ALAI), where he leads institutional engagement and drives policy initiatives that promote an open, innovative, and inclusive digital ecosystem.
He brings extensive experience in the design and implementation of public policies from the public sector, the digital industry, and consulting. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading ICT companies fostering public-private collaboration to develop modern and enabling regulatory frameworks.
Before joining ALAI, he led public affairs for a mobility platform in Latin America and served as a legislative advisor at Colombia’s Ministry of Finance, supporting key economic and fiscal reform processes. He also has experience as a public affairs consultant for digital industry companies across the region.
He is passionate about bridging technology and policy to advance sustainable digital growth in Latin America.
