Petra Arts is Director Public Policy, Europe at Cloudflare. Cloudflare is a leading connectivity cloud company on a mission to help build a better Internet. Cloudflare protects websites, applications, and internal networks from malicious cyberattacks and helps the Internet operate more efficiently. Petra leads the company’s policy advocacy efforts in Brussels and engagement with EU-level stakeholders. She joined Cloudflare in July 2020 after working for a number of years in a similar position for telecommunications & media company Liberty Global. Previously she was an associate director at Kreab, an international consultancy firm, advising corporate clients on EU policy in the areas of financial services, privacy, cybersecurity and digital policy. She started her career in the European Parliament working for a Dutch MEP.
