R Brahmastro Kresnaraman (Dr)

Senior AI Research Manager, Bukalapak

Dr Brahmastro Kresnaraman has been a Senior AI Research Manager at Bukalapak since April 2018.

During his time at Bukalapak, Dr Kresnaraman has grown the AI Research division from a single entity to multiple teams and led them in providing AI/ML solutions/products to the company. At present he is leading the Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing research teams of Bukalapak AI Research Division.

Dr Kresnaraman obtained his bachelor degree in Computer Science from Universitas Indonesia in 2010, his Master degree from Information Science from Chukyo University, Japan, in 2014 and his Doctor of Information Science degree from Nagoya University, Japan in 2017. During his studies, he has been involved in various research projects involving image processing, machine learning, and computer vision, such as face recognition, surveillance and security, and others.
