As SVP of Technology – Data Preparation at Nielsen, Rahul oversees the technologies powering Nielsen’s core audience measurement currency across platforms such as TV, radio, OTT and social media.
Before joining Nielsen, Rahul held leadership positions at various global organisations. At Visa, he developed technologies that helped global banks and financial institutions understand and target customers based on their transactions within the Visa network. Rahul’s work at Amazon involved managing systems that ensured Amazon’s vast product selection and price competitiveness across more than 25 marketplaces.
Rahul is passionate about technology and its ethical application to improve lives. Currently, Rahul is focused on exploring and understanding the genuine applications of AI, aiming to move beyond the prevailing hype.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Rahul is an avid reader and traveler who enjoys engaging with diverse cultures. He firmly believes that people are fundamentally similar regardless of their geographical location.
