Robin Mansell (PhD, Simon Fraser University Canada), FAcSS, FBA is robLondon School of Economics and Political Science; currently Scientific Director for the Observatory for Information and Democracy’s (Paris) world report and Secretary, TPRC, Washington, DC. Her research focuses on media and communications regulation and policy, data governance, privacy and surveillance, digital platforms, socio-technical features of data and information systems, and innovation in digital networks and applications. She is author of numerous books and peer-reviewed papers, including Advanced Introduction to Platform Economics (2020, Elgar Publishing). She holds a Doctorate Honoris Causa from the University of Fribourg, is a British Academy Fellow and Fellow of the Oxford Global Society.
