Robin Mansell is Professor of New Media & the Internet in the Department of Media and Communications, LSE. Her work focuses on social, economic, and political issues arising from older and newer information and communication technologies. She is Board Member of TPRC (Research Conference on Communications, Information and Internet Policy) and served as Chair of the EURO Communications Policy Research Conference; President of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR); and Head of Department and interim LSE Deputy Director. Her numerous papers and books include Imagining the Internet: Communication, Innovation and Governance.
