Rodrigo Alcázar Silva

Commissioner, Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE)

Rodrigo Alcázar Silva has worked in Cofece since 2015 where he now holds now holds the position of Commissioner. He has previously worked for other regulatory bodies which indlue the Federal Institute of Telecommunications and regulated firms such as as Izzi Telecomm.

Mr Alcázar Silva has been teaching industrial organization at Tec de Monterrey since 2014.

Mr Alcázar Silva has a Bachelor in Economics at the Mexican Autonomous Technological Institute (ITAM), a Master’s degree in Economics of Regulation at University of Barcelona and a Law degree at the National University of Mexico (UNAM).
