Sachin Kakkar is Google India site lead for Privacy, Safety, and Security , where he drives the mission to keep everyone safe at scale—building solutions that protect billions of people globally. With over 24 years of experience in R&D and engineering leadership, Sachin holds 12 patents in areas such as online content classification, digital media assignment, and self-healing systems. He has also authored 10+ international publications.
Prior to Google, Sachin served as the India Site Lead for Trust Organization at LinkedIn–Microsoft, where he led large-scale Trust platforms, Spam Protection at Scale, and global compliance initiatives including GDPR, DMA, and CCPA.
He holds a Master’s degree in AI & ML from Georgia Tech and an MBA from IIM. At his core, he’s driven by a passion for building technology that serves people — safely, responsibly, and at scale.
