Sanda S T Cheuk is currently the Deputy Director-General (Telecommunications) of the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA), the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. OFCA is the executive arm of the Communications Authority which is an independent unified regulator for both the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors in Hong Kong. Mr Cheuk is responsible for overseeing all matters in relation to the regulation of the telecommunications sector, management of radio spectrum and enforcement of competition and consumer protection laws in the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors.

Mr Cheuk was trained as a professional engineer and has developed his career in the telecommunications field. After gaining experience in the private sector, he joined the Government and has worked in OFCA and the former Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) for over 20 years. He is currently a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Mr Cheuk holds a bachelor degree in electronics engineering and a master degree in business administration (technology management).
