Sharon Yiu is a Senior Legal Counsel overseeing global privacy and data protection of Tencent’s international products including games, communication tools, platform and content products. Sharon also provides privacy advice and support to Tencent’s privacy related public affairs matters.
Prior to Tencent, Ms Yiu spent four years in a US law firm handling TMT regulatory matters. M Yiu has also worked in a US-based global technology conglomerate where she provided legal support on general corporate and privacy matters.
Ms Yiu is a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong. She holds a Business Administration degree and a Law degree from the University of Hong Kong.
