Sheryl Willson is a Strategy Principal within Ofcom, the UK communications regulator, whose remit includes implementing the UK’s Online Safety regime. She has supported implementation of the new regime since its inception – both in roles at Ofcom and within Government. Sheryl currently leads on setting Ofcom’s strategic vision for the Online Safety regime and working with supervisory/enforcement – and broader – teams to help make sure Ofcom achieves its goals. Prior to this, Sheryl worked in enforcement roles within Ofcom and also in financial services regulation in various roles.
