Sidney Tsan joined the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA), Hong Kong in 2007. He is now the Assistant Director of Regulatory Affairs Branch and is responsible for the licensing and regulatory affairs of public telecommunications services and the facilitation of 5G network development. Prior to joining OFCA, he had held management positions in Hutchison Telephone, PCCW, Cisco Systems and Huawei Technologies.
Mr Tsan holds a bachelor degree of science in engineering and a master degree of business administration from the University of Hong Kong. He also holds a master degree of arts in EU competition law from King’s College, London. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
