With over a decade of experiences and extensive knowledge of Telecommunications, Mr Bunboren Tep serves as Director of Telecommunication Regulation Bureau at TRC with a vision of creating an enabling ecosystem for progressive development of telecommunications in Cambodia. Through his supervision and strategic planning, he administers the functions related to licensing, numbering assignment, telecommunication standard and statistic, and ccTLD (Country Code Top-Level Domain) .KH. In addition to operational management, he also actively involves in policy making and regulations drafting with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and other stakeholders.
Before joining TRC, Mr Tep also has held various roles in private telecommunication companies which he performed diverse functions, including, but not limited to the frequency planning, mobile connection drive test and analysis, 2G 3G and 4G base stations rollout and swapping, and access network hardware and software planning and dimensioning.
Mr Tep is a technical individual by training. His specializations are in telecommunication regulation and wireless communication.
