Head of Strategic Transformation, Total Access Communication Plc ( DTAC)

Thibaut Girard is the head of Strategy at dtac in Thailand, in charge of dtac’s corporate strategic initiatives with a particular focus on digital transformation and growth. He is working closely on IoT, 5G, new partnership models, data analytics, AI and new digital journeys. He is also supporting dtac’s transformation into an agile and flexible organization that stirs innovation with project-based sprints across a vast variety of topics.

Mr Girard has 15 years of experience in telecoms, strategy consulting and engineering. Before working for dtac, he was Principal from Boston Consulting Group based in Bangkok, advising several telecom companies in the region on a broad range of subjects from BSS transformation to churn management, enterprise go to market, fiber optic roll out optimization, more broadly pushing a larger digital transformation agenda. He started his career as an engineer for Airbus and the French Space Agency and created two start-ups in Europe, one to develop a malaria early warning system and one that deployed 2,000+ wireless towers to bridge the digital divide.

Mr Girard holds a MBA from IMD in Switzerland and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Supaero in Toulouse, France.
