Executive Director of Telecommunications Consumer Protection Bureau, The Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand (NBTC)

Tri Bunchua is currently Executive Director of Telecommunications Consumer Protection Bureau, the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Thailand.

His works include policy and regulation on consumer protection; complaint dealing; consumer strengthening and networking; Media, Information and Digital literacy (MIDL) and digital inclusion. Just recently, he has joined the telecommunications cluster of NBTC but he has long experience in broadcasting consumer protection.

Apart from his main function at the Office of the NBTC, Mr Bunchua has actively participated in several academic activities, teaching philosophy and communication and MIDL trainer. His published articles and TV appearances are related to both media, telecommunication and philosophy providing his opinion mainly on regulation, policy, social diversity and MIDL.

Mr Bunchua completed his PhD in Philosophy and Ethics from Suansunadha Rajabhat University, Thailand after his Master of Arts in Communications from Victoria University, Australia.
