Watee Powtong has been the Co –Chief Legal Officer at True Corporation Public Company Limited, Thailand, where he has worked for the past seventeen years. Prior to that he worked in the law offices of Alan L. Busch, P.C.
He has held a number of public appointments including sitting on the National Telecommunications Commission Sub-Committee on deceptive conduct from VOIP services; being part of the drafting Committee for the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology Sub Committee on Computer Crime Act ; and being a Board member of the Clearing House for Mobile Number Portability.
He received his Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and his Masters from the Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, USA. Mr Powtong has taken, additionally, a number of Diploma courses to advance hos professional knowledge.
