Zahid bin Ahmad is a Director II at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), with experience in content moderation, digital monitoring and online safety. His work involves the assessment of harmful and illegal online content across digital platforms, as well as regulatory and operational matters within the digital environment. He is also involved in team management, workforce development, training and capacity-building initiatives to support effective content moderation operations.
His professional interests include artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and digital innovation, particularly in exploring how technology can support digital regulation, online safety, and regulatory practices.
