IIC members explore the evolving landscape of privacy, personal data protection and digital safety, cyber resilience and data sovereignty. Discussions address how governments and industry can safeguard personal data and privacy, ensure the security of critical information infrastructures, and promote user protection while supporting innovation and cross-border data flows. Issues include cybersecurity frameworks, online harms, lawful access debates, encryption policy, digital identity and use of biometrics, and navigating increasingly complex local and international data governance regimes. The theme reflects the growing need for trust frameworks, secure and resilient architectures, and sovereign approaches to data stewardship in a globally interconnected environment.
We give innovators and regulators a forum in which to explore, debate and agree the best policies and regulatory frameworks for widest societal benefit.
