Estonia is a pioneer in digital identity applications and therefore as part of the IIC’s cybersecurity month, we invited Raul Rikk, National Cyber Security Policy Director at the Government CIO Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Estonia, to share his key areas of focus at the moment. Here he is in conversation with our Director of Programmes, Amanda Crabbe, who asked him about cybersecurity incidents in Estonia during the pandemic and the impact that the e-ID system has had, and also the challenges that 5G security poses at the national and pan-European level.
