IIC MENA Chapter – Data Privacy Committee
A Data Protection Committee has been formed under the auspices of the IIC MENA Chapter. The main purpose of the committee is to facilitate discussions on best practices in data protection regulations, risks, and trends to new technologies in the MENA region Middle East. It also aims to coordinate cross-border data processing requirements and safe harbour provisions.
The committee is dedicated to protecting and respecting data privacy. One of its key objectives is to promote the harmonization of data protection regulations across the MENA region, this includes fostering cooperation and sharing knowledge among members to address challenges and opportunities related to data privacy.
