Blockchain to be used for inter-operator roaming

Four Telecoms firms are testing a blockchain solution designed to simplify inter-operator roaming agreements, reports telecomstechnews. Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica and T-Mobile US are testing a ‘production-ready’ solution built by Deutsche Telekom, who plan to make the technology open-source. The new system aims to automate the process that currently requires drafting, signing, and manually implementing each agreement.
