UK: Ofcom has announced that Jonathan Oxley will become interim chief executive while the process to appoint a permanent chief executive continues. He will take on the role at the end of November, when Sharon White leaves, reports Mobile News. He is currently Group Director for Competition at the regulators, a position he has held since 2014. Prior to Ofcom, he worked at PwC for eight years. Oxley’s appointment is subject to approval by the secretary of state for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
