This short article aims to list the key policy options and regulatory topics which are high up on the priority list of policymakers, regulators, digital firms and telecoms operators in Europe, and many of which are being closely watched globally. The driving forces for the current changes are the ongoing stream of new, innovative services delivered by OTT players, the growing importance of ubiquitous ultra-fast and very low latency (gigabit) networks.
