Francesco 2017, by leading artist Urs Fischer, is a giant four-metre high wax candle sculpture – a portrait of a man gazing intently at his mobile phone – that once lit, burns down over six months and when fully melted is disposed of and then recast to its original form. It is on display at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
