Entrants were asked to produce a report on the topic “What principles should guide policymakers in designing local and international approaches for internet intermediaries in the evolving communications environment?” The winner was Andreea Antuca, a consultant in the digital practice and a member of the competition and analytics teams at Oxera Consulting LLP, for her paper “Principles for Regulating Platforms”. The IIC’s Future Leaders Competition 2021, for entrants aged 35 and under, working within the TMT policy sector, attracted a strong field on the given topic of principles to guide policy approaches to internet intermediaries.
